Enchanted Rock is almost like another planet. Most of it is devoid of life (except my husband):

You could see new ones forming as plants started to grow where water had collected in holes in the rock:

Enchanted Rock is in Texas. It was a day trip from Austin but I can’t recall what direction it was in. I lose my bearings in Texas because there are so few landmarks. Glad you liked the pictures.
