Interesting and dramatic, Chicago is a modern city with modern architecture, where you get a crick in your neck looking up at all the really tall buildings. I spent about twenty three hours there last summer on a train trip (our train arrived one hour after the connecting train left). I doubt we’ll ever go back.

First one is the Sears tower, right? The beautiful city had a privilege of living there for 3 years!

Probably. I was only in town such a short time that my head was spinning. For me the buildings were more like trees in a forest than individual entities.

Thanks. We were lucky to see the hot air balloon on the clearest day we were there. The blue sky really makes the Minster pop out better than the grey-white clouds.
