Here’s my contribution:
I attended a conference at the Washington State Convention Center. It was in the conference center part. One thing I really liked was how it had comfortable seating in little alcoves here and there where you could take a break from being with people. I’m not very good at the mix and mingle thing.
After the Sunday sessions my husband met me and we walked through downtown to our favorite watering hole, the Owl and Thistle Pub. We’ve been going there for about thirty years now.

How nice you’ve been going to the pub for many years. Must feel like a home away from home at times. I do like those chairs in there. 🙂

It has a very laid back feeling tucked away from the hipster or tourist feel that you see so much in Seattle these days, plus it reminds us of pubs in Ireland.

Ah, that looks like a good place to visit next time I’m in Seattle. Any place that uses books as decor is my kind of place! Thanks for the tip
