My contribution for this week:

We were blessed with a visit from my sister-in-law from Austin Texas, who was gracious about our lack of a classy household to stay in and a good sport about the decidedly so-so weather Seattle had this past week (she even claiming that it was a relief from the 100+’s they were having at home). We took a tourist cruise on Lake Union through the Montlake cut to Lake Washington. I’d never done anything like that before (I was born in Seattle and have lived in the area most of my life) and it was a lot of fun, even though it rained off and on.

A wet bench and some stacking chairs are the seating available for those waiting to board the Argosy history cruise of Lake Union, the Montlake cut and Lake Washington.
The olest houseboat in Seattle was built as a model of a Yukon shack for an exhibition, but the seating on its deck looks decidedly modern.
Cold wet behind anyone? Looking back at the Montlake Bridge in Seattle you can see seats on our boat that would be very appealing on a warm sunny day.

I think this is the houseboat the guide said played a starring role in "Sleepless in Seattle".
The lower level indoor seating on our Argosy cruise, for those who didn't want to get cold and wet...can you imagine visitng Seattle and not wanting to get cold and wet?
