So gorgeous! My grandma had some lovely jades which she brought home from China after the war. (My Granddad was a Sergeant Major stationed in Hong Kong). I always loved looking at all her Chinese ornaments when we visited and hope that one day some of them would be mine, so imagine my disappointment when on a whim she called in a man who advertised in the local paper, and let him take them all for a few pounds. 😳 said she was tired of dusting them.

That is sad.

She never put sentimental value on material things, which in some ways I agree with, but these items along with with many porcelain ornaments and a few intricate ivory carvings, I considered to be part of our family history. 😱
