A PHOTO CHALLENGE OF PLACES WE SIT…OR MIGHT SIT…OR ART ABOUT SITTING
Welcome to week 14 of the Pull up a Seat Challenge in 2021.
Sorry I’m late; this week went by so fast I forgot it was time to post yesterday!
Take a load off and share a favorite perch by linking your post to this one, either with a comment or ping-back. For more detailed directions go to Pull Up a Seat page.
It is always fun to see the variety of ideas this theme evokes.

My contribution this week:
We walked by these two local establishments which had added outdoor annexes for the pandemic. I believe they do get business…these were taken in the morning before these places open.

I like the feels of those restaurants. They have the comfort all in the shade. Here’s my contribution: https://mrssheckysblog.com/2021/04/02/a-bench/

Around here they’re more focused on protection from “liquid sunshine”.

I noticed many food establishments here in Singapore have added additional outdoor dining seats, despite the heat & humidity – I reckon folks prefer to sit outdoors given the current situation.

The two restaurant I showed normally have only indoor seating. In Seattle our weather challenges are cool temperatures and rain. I think it’s great to see the businesses adapting to the needs of the times. I wonder if we will see the trend of eating outdoors continue.

I remember that it rains quite a bit in Seattle – and it is quite cool even in the summer. So I can imagine it is challenging to do al fresco dining.

Why did I never photograph unusual seating when I saw it in my travels? Anyway, Marie over at Hops, Skips and Jumps told me about this challenge and I just had to have a go. Here’s my contribution https://travels-with-my-camera.blog/2021/04/03/pull-up-a-seat-photo-challenge/
