My contribution this week:
This past week we had crazy, crazy hot weather. During the worst of it I took the pups to my Dad’s, where it is generally about 10 degrees cooler than in the city. The best way to cool down enough to sleep was to go wading at sunset (the tides were high and the water was delightfully chilly). I sat on the steps to the beach between wades and enjoyed the sunset and cool breeze off the water.

Good thing you did by going to the beach. I’m thinking about the same but the plan is not shaping up well, because of several reasons.

No lie. I’ve spent a lot of time in the southern California desert and never thought I’d see those temps here at home. I worry about the Puget Sound heating up.

When we lived in Sacramento it got hot, but never like this. The climate is really changing quite rapidly.
