Pull up a Seat Photo Challenge 2021-Week 33

A PHOTO CHALLENGE OF PLACES WE SIT…OR MIGHT SIT…OR ART ABOUT SITTING

Welcome to week 33 of the Pull up a Seat Challenge in 2021.

Take a load off and share a favorite perch by linking your post to this one, either with a comment or ping-back. For more detailed directions go to Pull Up a Seat page.

It is always fun to see the variety of ideas this theme evokes.

My contribution this week:

I see this place when I’m waiting for a ferry to come home from my dad’s. The building itself has been there my whole lifetime. When I was a kid we called it the “Dock and Dine”, which was not actually the name of the restaurant, which was, if memory serves, Northgate lunch. We lived within walking distance and it was the only eating place within walking distance. On the island what people call things tends to be what they once were. Likely it was Dock and Dine when my parents were kids and Nothgate lunch never caught on.

Today’s business looks a lot more quirky and it looks fun, I bet they serve more than burgers and fries. Maybe someday I’ll have enough time to stop in.

Over to you
