My contribution this week:
I found this old photo when I was working on Chinese lines for Cee’s Black and White Challenge last week. It shows all nine of the dragons on the famous nine dragon screen at the Forbidden City in Beijing. It’s actually pretty hard to get an angle where you can get them all in one frame. By the time you get that far into the Forbidden City you really do need to sit down. Problem is that the seats provided look away from the screen!

I gave the photo an artsy treatment with Topaz Studio 2 textures to make the blown out highlights and chromatic aberration less noticeable.
That is some bench and what is strange is that no one is taking any notice of the magnificent backdrop just enjoying each other’s company

That is a very beautiful wall. However it must be a bit awkward to sit under those fierce dragons …
This is mine, a bench on a sunny winter day:

It’s a shame the seats aren’t facing the dragons.

Wow, what an intricate wall design. I would have taken lots of photos of it.

that is a beautiful dragon fresco…..how lovely it would be to sit and look at it for a while. They do need to turn the seats around.

Wow!
No wonder capturing all of them in one frame is hard. And those benches are certainly good for photographers 🙂
