My contribution this week:
A few antique Irish seats for St. Paddy’s Day.

According to the sign at the museum, a settle is a very Irish piece of furniture. A sort of sleeper-sofa, but without much soft involved!

Interesting seats this week. The settle would have been a useful piece of furniture.

The settle mechanism (if there was one) seems similar to a lot of modern day sofa beds where you upend towards you then drop down the bed!
I’m also late posting – here’s mine….. https://cranethie.com/2022/03/20/and-so-it-goes/
Take care
