My lovely for this week
This past week I took a short trip with my father. We visited Hell’s Canyon, which is in a tri-state area including Washington, Oregon and Idaho. It is a very beautiful area along the Snake River. Our trip was on a jet boat that delivers mail to the remote area once a week. Here is a sampler from the journey.

Background
We live in a world that seems to value drama, anger, fear and violence. Being mean often passes for being smart. These are the things that “go viral”, magnified in the media. Sometimes, the things that really make life worth living are small and simple. They don’t make for good TikTok. This is a chance to share that type of moment from our lives.

Thanks for the gentle reminder to share my birds today for whatsoever is lovely, XF! I can’t think of anything much lovelier than spring birds. Your boat trip along the Snake River in Hell’s Canyon looks awesome despite the weather. I shall have to google that and check it out!

There is nothing lovelier than spring birds. Hell’s canyon is in your neck of the woods. I’m thinking I may try to go back when the water is low to see the difference.
