This challenge is simple: step back for a few minutes each week to find a lovely thing, a precious moment, anything you find lovely. Then post about it. You can just post a picture or you can go into detail and tell it as a reflection, story or poem.

It could be anything:

My computer/internet is giving me a hassle right now, or maybe it’s just life. Anyway I am still having trouble posting comments on some sites. Please know that I always look at and appreciate your contributions.

My lovely for this week

We had a gray week. One thing I did was to put together a kids (and kitten) in the kitchen in black and white collage to put up in my kitchen. I’ll share the pictures for it because they make me smile.

The photos are in chronological order. The two little girls who look alike are not the same child, they are sisters. I didn’t realize how alike they looked until I saw these photos side by side. The older of the two is now in college and the younger is only 5.

Background

We live in a world that seems to value drama, anger, fear and violence. Being mean often passes for being smart. These are the things that “go viral”, magnified in the media. Sometimes, the things that really make life worth living are small and simple. They don’t make for good TikTok. This is a chance to share that type of moment from our lives.
