If wishes were…

The old saying is “if wishes were horses, then beggars would ride”. If there was a horse for every dandelion wish we’d be overrun with horses!

Taking photos of “wishes” is an annual ritual for me. I know dandelions are rather pesky, but I kind of like them. Both as cheerful yellow wildflowers and as “wishes”. Do you like them too?… or are they just pests?

  2. I have never heard of that saying but it’s always good to learn a new one. When I was a child we used to pick dandelions in order to blow on them while making a wish (like birthday candles).
