I accidentally pulled this flower out when weeding. I took pictures of it so it will not have died in vain.
My Dad and I took a trip down memory pier, along the rapidly changing waterfront of Seattle today. It was an exceptionally blue day…weather wise anyway. We were pretty cheerful.

Blue is my favorite color and I really want to find this color of iris for my own garden. Problem is that I already have a very nice two toned purple bearded iris occupying the limited territory in my garden suitable for irises.
The Great Blue Heron is more grey than blue.
Yesterday at the beach the Great Blue Heron was fishing. I managed to get a few decent pictures of it flying and landing.
