Walking the fence line

She’s ever so ‘portant.
The A.A. Milne poem, Lines and Squares, with which Becky of Winchester announced this challenge came to mind when I saw this photo of my niece walking Asta beside our neighbor’s fence…carefully walking in the squares.

Action on the beach
The great blue heron took off and flew away:
Because of the speeding bullet of a puppy running around:
The toddler was also in action:
All-in-all a lovely end to the summer. The convergence of good weather, a low-ish tide and both my sisters and I all being able to relax at the beach at the same time is relatively rare.
What is the story?
This is a picture I took at the Beijing airport a couple of years ago (with my phone, hence the poor quality). Even though I don’t know what it is I have always felt that there is a story behind it. She caught my imagination with her pretty floral headdress. The picture is blurry: I snapped it while trying to manage my own luggage through the check in line.
