Black and white seems like a good medium for pictures of this steamboat. If you are ever in Kansas City you really should check out the Arabia Steamboat Museum. It is amazing, not in a Disney way, but as a unique and very detailed view into a time period.

The steamboat was the ultimate time capsule. And its story, both in the losing and the finding is amazing. The museum is one of the best I have ever seen in laying out the history and displaying the huge number of artifacts in a way that lets you see the magnitude of the find but not feel overwhelmed.
