It’s been crazy hot here. But the water is cold, and wading at sunset makes you feel like the world isn’t so bad…
I played with using some of the effects available in the GIMP and the G’mic plug in for it (I think you can use G’mic as a plug-in for other programs as well).

This is a view from the Vashon Ferry dock on the north end of the island. After a rather cold (actually it’s still a bit below normal) March, at the last minute we got blasted with sunshine.
I’m a fan of the beach at sunset…even on a chilly winter evening.
